Pretty nice ring overall. I purchased this item as a non-traditional wedding ring for my wife. The sapphire is much darker than what it shows in the picture. I sort of expected this though due to the fact that the sapphire is natural and also due to the fact of the grade that was listed for the sapphire. From my experience, natural sapphires generally have a darker tint to them than lab created ones. So, if you are looking to purchase this ring, expect the stone to be darker than pictured. It's almost a midnight blue color. This doesn't take anything away from the beauty of the ring though. The ring is very beautiful and my wife gets many compliments on it. Overall, I am pleased with this ring, my wife is pleased with it, and I would purchase it all over again if given the chance.--yahtzee.

the stone was way darker almost black than that shown in the photograph, but the customer service was awesome, i order the wrong size and correct it without any trouble--Hilaria Luevano "elector".
