This was such a good bargain that I had to make the purchase. Imagine my surprise when the necklace turned out to be so nice I had to look it over carefully to prove they were potato pearls and not from the saltwater South Seas! Bought 5 necklaces for my bridesmaids. The pearls are a heavy weight and are assymettrical. Several have dents or flaws but this is to be expected based on product description and the price. The makers do a good job of putting the less flawed pearls front and center and more flawed towards the clasp so they look higher quality. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. The pearls will photograph well and put together the look I was wanting for my wedding at an affordable price. --eric.

While the pearl necklace is wonderful to look at, I am very disappointed that the clasp is nearly impossible for me to open. To rectify this and be able to wear it, I am having the clasp replaced to one that is easier to use. Even my daughter found it not user-friendly.--abelind.

Necklace is certainly worth the sale price on the day that I purchased and it is a good starter necklace for my very young daughter-in-law whose birthday is in June. However, the clasp is rough on the edges and lets the experienced buyer know that it is a so-so product. Wish it had a better, 10 or 14K clasp. Saw this Pearl Necklace a few days before Christmas and just had to have it for myself! It was such a great deal at $19.99 and looked just lovely in the picture. Well...I was pleasantly surprised to receive the package within days of ordering (ordered on Dec. 19, received on 22nd!). Pearls are big and necklace is very nice, but quite a few of the pearls are flawed. A little upset about this, but when you wear it nobody else notices. I received the item, which was an 18" strand of freshwater pearls, in a timely manner but I was not impressed with the quality. Maybe I'm not aware, but the strand seemed to be knotted too tightly causing it not to lay well. This could be due to newness, we'll see. Also, the clasp is very hard to maneuver getting on and off and the pearls themselves have a lot of imperfections in shape. Again, being freshwater may have something to do with it but some of them actually have nubs on them. I bought them because the add said they were originally $69.99 and I thought paying $20.00 would be a great savings. If I had paid $69.99 for them I would have been furious!--phatlady.

The craftsmanship is actually good, but the pearls are off color, cracked, color veins, oblong, etc. Looks like the necklaces were made from the rejects because there was not one pearl that even came close to a round white pearl. For the price I paid, I got what I paid for.--dad.

I knew these were not going to be the best quality pearls, but I was amazed that two of the pearls had no lustre at all on them. The person who strung them must have been blind. Was getting these for a young lady who requested pearls not knowing how expensive they could be. But they just were not even wearable.
