Stone quality, screw backs, same composition as natural stones, actually difficult for untrained eye to differentiate even with loupe. You need a diamond tester.--lyns29.

They are very pretty but they do not screw on and off. I guess grooves on the post are not deep enough. I lost the back off of one of them,the company is replacing the back.
